About the Role:
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our client in the Northern Bowen Basin for a 3 - 6 month duration and work a Monday to Friday roster with flexible hours for the right candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop detailed, customer facing manuals and documentation outlining the end-to-end maintenance functions performed on machiner
Liaise and work effectively with departments and stakeholders to develop and write technical documentation for the Engineering Team
Utilize technical knowledge in the development of customer facing documentation
Produce documentation in line with customer publication requirements
Develop and maintain the technical documentation process to ensure maximum efficiency
Maintain documentation records for the Engineering Team in line with the business Quality Management System (QMS)
Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals
Analyse documents to maintain continuity of style of content
Manage updates and revisions to technical literature
Provide open and honest communication with the goal of progressing the company's technology and professional standing within its target market.
Assist with developing, attaining, and maintaining quality assurance procedures.
Assist the product team in providing product training to internal staff and clients.
Experience in a similar position
Prior experience in a fast-paced administration role is advantageous
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritise a high workload and multitask
Exposure to Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint)
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
Current Australian Drivers Licence
Full Working Rights in Australia
