About the Role

As the Trade Assistant/Maintenance worker you will be involved in a project based in Elmore (Victoria). The project involves setting up a camp to house displaced flood victims and is set to go for a minimum of six months. Successful candidates will work 8-10 hours a day (Monday to Friday) and must have previous experience completing maintenance-based tasks (handyman duties). Jobs will revolve around the construction of temporary homes and candidates will be required to assist with;

• Roofing/Walls

• Painting

• Minor plumbing

• Installing household appliances

• Fitting shelves or windows

• Basic gardening

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in a similar role

• Construction White Card

• Drivers Licence + Reliable Transport

• Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Working With Children Check Employee(or willingness to obtain)

• Strong communication, time management and organisation skills

• COVID Vaccination
