NWEC is an engineering construction company responsible for the upgrade of sections of the Refinery in building structural, mechanical & piping requirements on tanks and pipes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Seeking experienced Trades Assistants to commence at Sun Metals Zinc Refinery with a background in structural steel.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting the tradespeople with MIG, TIG and Flux Core duties

• Assisting the tradespeople Cutting, Shaping, Assembling and welding steel to construct or repair metal products

SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Confined Space Certificate

• Working at Heights Certificate

• Construction White/Blue Card

• Willing to complete a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen
