About the role

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in Singleton, NSW, specializing in elastomers manufacturing. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our elastomer production equipment, this will be primarily mine site based with some workshop.

What you will be doing

  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment used in elastomers manufacturing.

  • Troubleshooting equipment issues and performing diagnostics to identify and resolve problems.

  • Conducting preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.

  • Collaborating with production teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.

  • Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Documenting maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance for record-keeping purposes.

  • Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.

  • Participating in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

  • Availability for occasional overtime and on-call duties as required with travel to the Gunnedah basin, allowances provided,

What you need

  • Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in manufacturing, preferably in elastomers or related industries.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

  • Ability to endure physical work.

  • Hold a current 043 Pre Employment Medical or Willing to obtain

  • MDG25

  • Working at Height

  • Confined space

  • Current Drivers Licence

  • Forklift Licence

  • Right to work documents

  • Provide 2 workplace references

  • LR truck licence
