The Company

Operating for over thirteen years, you will be working with a well established and reputable company who offer Forklift buy, hire and repair services to their clients within the mining industry. Due to internal growth an opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified mechanic with trade experience across either light diesel, heavy diesel or auto electrical for forklift repair and servicing works on a mine site.

What you will be doing

You will have the option to work across either Goonyella, Peak Downs or Black Water mine sites on a Monday - Friday roster working 12 hour days. You will be provided with accommodation in Moranbah from Sunday afternoon to Friday and will have a $150 weekly meal allowance. You will have an absolute commitment to safety and to be considered, you must be a trade qualified light vehicle mechanic, heavy diesel mechanic or an auto electrician. Your duties will include conducting repairs/maintenance and inspections on various Forklifts so you will preferably have prior experience with forklift servicing and repairs, along with a forklift licence would be advantageous.

What you will need

• Must be a trade qualified Mechanic

• Experience with servicing forklifts advantageous

• Up to date resume with 2 x current work related references

• Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11

• Goonyella, Peak Downs or Black water site inducted would be advantageous but not essential
