About the Role

Our client is looking for an Experienced Trade Assistant for an immediate start at a local mine site in the Hunter Valley. There is a opportunity to go permanent after 12 months for the right candidate

This is a Monday to Friday, 6-230pm role.

You will be working in and around the workshop, cleaning the vehicles ready for the Light Vehicle Mechanics to commence maintenance. Working in the pit to pick up break downs, and general cleaning and tidying around the workshop

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct work in a safe and productive manner

• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol and full pre-employment medical

• Must be willing to undertake site specific induction

• Must be willing to complete site specific e-learning

• Provide evidence of residential address within 80km of Singleton upon application

• Ensure all safety measures and regulations are followed at all times

Skills and Experience

• Forklift licence desirable

• Australian Driver's Licence

• Right to Work in Australia

• Provide 2 work place references for contact
