About the Role

WorkPac are seeking suitably experienced and motivated Mechanical Trade Assistantsto join our Clients team on a casual basis to work in the Mackay region..!

You will be working 6 days a week with 10-hour shifts.

As an experienced and skilled Mechanical Trade Assistant, you must be reliable, safety conscious, punctual and physically fit.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Mechanical maintenance - hose and hydraulic experience advantageous

• Assisting trades with maintenance of gear boxes and conveyors

• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with guidelines and criteria

• Demonstrate adherence to planned work schedules relating to the maintenance and repairs

Skills and Experience

• Trade assistant experience

• Substantial & demonstratemechanical maintenance skills

• Sound level of skills in oral, written, and interpersonal communication

  Forklift licence

  Overhead gantry crane experience

• Drivers Licence

• Other trade related tickets will be advantageous
