Trades Assistant/Radiator Fitter

About our client

Our client is a leading independent manufacturer and supplier of high-quality radiators and cooling solutions. With innovative products and reliable technology, they provide industrial radiator and heat exchange repair services to the mining, transport, construction, agricultural and general industry business sectors

About the role

Mon-Thurs the team are doing 10 hour days currently
Fri the team are doing 7.6 hour days Saturdays they are working 6am-12noon

Duties and responsibilities

• Radiator repairs, rebuild and bolt up

• Stripping, washing and testing radiators and cooling components

• Buffing radiator tubes

• Use of basic hand tools such as grinders, spray painting equipment and other tools and machinery

• Manual handling

• Housekeeping duties to ensure safe operation of the work area

• Additional duties can include painting, strip and assembly, pressure testing and soldering

Skills and experience

• Recent and/or previous experience in a similar role

• Clear communication skills both written and verbal

• Strong adherence and understanding of OH & S policies and procedures

• Reliable and punctual with a good attitude

Must behave and/or willing to obtain

• Pass Drug and alcohol

• Pre employment medical

• Blood lead test

• Drivers license

• FL ticket beneficial but not mandatory
