THE ROLE

Our client currently has permanent OR casual opportunities for Electricians and Mechanical Fitters to join our team in a fast-paced, 24/7 beef production environment. Work environments will vary from agricultural, production, refrigeration, coal fired boiler and rendering.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Preventative and breakdown maintenance activities, with a strong focus on a preventative approach.

Contribution of ideas and input to improved systems, procedures and maintenance.

Understand the urgent nature of the business and manage competing priorities.

Prioritise urgent repairs of equipment.

Understand the importance of troubleshooting and problem solving.

Coordinate and collaborate with contractors as well as other departments regarding reliable maintenance of the various sections of the plant.

ROSTER

$60.60 per hour Flat Rate

Night Shift: 16:00-04.00 - 12 hour shift

Seven day shift roster.

5 days on, 5days off, then 4 days on, 5 days off

ABOUT YOU

Recognised Electrical or Mechanical trade certificate.

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Knowledge of OH&S regulations.

High level fault finding and problem solving skills.

Unlimited working rights within Australia.

Driver's licence and reliable vehicle or reliable means of getting to work.

Vaccinated (or willing to be) against Q Fever.
