About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Train Examiner / Yard shunter for roles in the Pilbara starting in April 2021

- 4:4 Roster
- 12-hour shifts
- Day Shift/Night Shift
- Applicants from the Roebourne Point Samson and Wickham area need only apply

Role commences in April 2021 !

Duties:
This role is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a strong commitment to safety to be part of a collaborative team. This position supports the Rail Operations department and duties include but are not limited to minor maintenance tasks on the train wagons, wagon inspections, yard operations labouring and locomotive shunting.

Skills and Experience:

Mandatory:
- Minimum C Class WA Drivers Licence
- Good Work Attitude
- Physically Fit
- Experience working in a hot environment

Preferred by not essential:

Capable to demonstrate the following:
Sound mechanical aptitude
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot challenges as they arise
Proven ability to maintain high levels of concentration for long periods of time
Dedicated commitment to safety including working within stringent safety protocols and procedures at all times
Ability to work night shifts, weekends and public holidays and working 12 hours shift The ability to work as part of a team
Ensure strict compliance to Network Safety rules and regulations
Possess a current Class C motor vehicle drivers licence
