About the Role?

WorkPac are seeking applications from those who would like to undertake a Certificate III in Surface Extraction based at a local mite site in the Gunnedah Region. The successful candidates will be committed to the completion of their Traineeship that will commence in January 2023.?

Please Note: This is a residential role, no FIFO or camp facilities are available. Applicants must have accommodation in the Gunnedah region for an application to be considered. Evidence of residential will be required on progression of application.???

What you will be doing?

• Operating Drill Rigs in a safe manner

• Working both Day & Night shifts

• 10.5 hr shifts working Monday to Friday

• You will meet KPI targets within the coal production environment

What you need

• Have a strong work history with references to validate your employment

• A current unrestricted manual Driver's Licence (P Plates not considered)

• Be a team player with a positive attitude towards safety processes

• Ability to undertake a Coal Board Medical, including Drug and Alcohol testing

• Provide a National Police Clearance

• Willingness to obtain Security Clearance

• Reside within 1hr of the mine site with evidence of residence required upon progression of application
