In partnership with Rolleston Open Cut mine, WorkPac is now seeking entry level Operators who are looking for an opportunity to obtain a production dump truck operator role withing a coal mining environment.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Located 16km from the town of Rolleston and only 140km from Emerald, our client is one of Australia's largest coal producers, who operate open cut and underground coal mines. Our client is a responsible miner of coal with a track record of excellence in supplying high quality coal.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant equipment, consisting of CAT 789

• Work 7/7 Alternating Dayshift/Nightshift roster

• 12.5 Hour Shifts

• Maintain equipment

• Operate equipment safely

• Follow company policies and procedures

Successful applicants will possess the following:

• Commitment to safe work behaviors and adherence to site safety procedures

• A valid Open Drivers Licence

• Ability to contribute and work positively in a team environment

The following will be highly regarded but are not essential:

• Previous machine operating experience

• Previous experience working shifts/rosters

• Current Coal Industry Standard 11

• Current Coal Board Medical

• Valid HR Drivers Licence
