About the Role:
Our client is currently seeking diverse candidates interested in a career in Rail Maintenance and completing a Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure whilst gaining on the job experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to upskill in the rail industry and learn about track maintenance activities whilst fulfilling the role as a Trainee Track Maintainer Operator.

- 8/6 Roster
- 12 Hour Shifts
- Day Shifts & Night Shifts
- FIFO Port ex Perth - Some WA Regional ports may be on offer pending availability
- Role also open to Karratha residents
- Fully compensated Certificate in Rail III Infrastructure

What the role entails, not limited to:
- Operating Rail Maintenance machinery such as High Rail Excavator
- Re-railing, resurfacing, sleeper changes and other associated tasks to do with track maintenance
- Vehicle loading, unloading, handling equipment & machinery
- Reporting faults to supervision as identified
- Comply with health and safety requirements


Mandatory:
- Must be a physical fit individual able to withstand working in a hot climate and hot working environment, this role will involve working in remote areas.
- Prior experience working in a physically demanding role
- Ability to pass a Category 1 Rail Medical
- C Class Drivers Licence
- Australian Rights to work

Preferred:
- High Risk Work Licence
- HR Licence
- First Aid Certificate
- Rio Tinto Inducted
- Prior Rail experience will be highly advantageous
