About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced customer service officer, supporting the safe and efficient movement of Rio Tinto personnel across the Pilbara region. Our ideal candidate is motivated by a fast-paced and dynamic work environment & is committed to delivering a high level of customer service. The role is located at Rio Tinto, Central Park Perth on a Monday to Friday roster, 8hr days. This role will be a 12-Month duration, with the possibility of extension & conversion to WorkPac FTE after 12-Month's with the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating travel bookings for flights, accommodation, and vehicles, using Inflight, Concur, RTTMS

  • Providing support to RTIO personnel with travel-related queries or feedback via phone or email

  • Providing reliable and service-focused communication and engagement with internal and external stakeholders

  • Auditing/Reporting to troubleshoot processing errors, identify training opportunities and process improvements

  • Supporting the Offshore Travel Team with queries, queue-management, & processing requests via RTTMS

  • Managing flight and accommodation discrepancies and resolving errors

  • Manifesting charter flights with stakeholders

  • Cross-team training and support across the RTIO travel team

  • Inbox management

  • Rotational emergency after-hours support

About You:

  • Strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer service

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines & excel in a high performing team

  • Good problem-solving skills & attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task & strong time-management

  • Ability to work collaboratively with all team members or work autonomously, as required

  • Strong written & verbal communication

  • Experience with Rio Tinto systems - Inflight, RTTMS, SAP, Concur (preferable)

  • Microsoft office skills - MS Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Current Australian Drivers Licence

  • Full Working Rights in Australia
