About our client

One of the world's leading mining and infrastructure solutions providers. From the production and supply of explosives and blasting systems, Our client are seeking multiple magazine keepers to join their team in Helidon (Queensland).

What you will be doing

As a magazine keeper your daily tasks will include:

• Picking and Packing explosive materials and products

• Operating Forklifts to move material/equipment

• Operating forklifts to load trucks

• Using Barcode scanners to transact material

• Using Computers for emails, system transactions

• Assisting with Stocktakes and Cycle Counts

• Assisting with the explosives record keeping

This is an ongoing position with an immediate start whereby the candidate will with also have the opportunity to move into a full-time/permanent position with the company.

What you will need

• High Risk Forklift Licence (Highly desirable but not essential)

• Reasonable Computer Aptitude

• Experience with detailed Record Keeping

• Reasonable level of fitness: lifting, manual handling

• Experience Loading/Unloading Trucks

• Ability to work on weekends when required
