Plant Operator

Pay rate: $39.50/hr (inclusive of casual loading)

Monday - Saturday 9am - 5pm

About our client

What will you be doing?

• Operating earthmoving equipment i.e. excavators, bulldozers, forklift

• Maintain a professional image and always deliver high quality customer service

• Inform and assist drivers and/or members of the public of proper placement for dumping loads to ensure most effective spreading of waste or other materials

• Excavate, load dry waste (metal, wood, general rubbish and other materials to compact and/or cover waste in accordance with company/contractual requirements and applicable regulations

• Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations

• General housekeeping duties

Skills and Experience

• Experience in the waste industry

• Front End Loader, forklift and traffic control experience

• Mobile Plant Operator experience

• Experience operating a left-hand drive vehicle

• Mechanical aptitude

Tickets and Licences

• Excavator

• Roller

• High Risk Forklift Licence

• HC Licence (including HR, MR, LR & C)

Pre-Employment Requirements

Minimum two doses of COVID-19 vaccination
