About the Client

Providing quality, locally made cable supports to the Australian Market, our client has built a strong reputation of being market leaders for over thirty years. They specialise in the production & distribution of Steel Cages & Aluminium Ladders and have a warehouse based in Acacia Ridge. With an increase in workload, they currently require Welders to join their team in an ongoing role.

About the role

As a welder, you will be required to work from 6:00am - 2.30pm (Monday to Thursday) and from 6:00am - 12.30pm (Friday). You will be responsible for various welding-based tasks in the workshop, with a focus on MIG welding on aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel ladders. Interested candidates will need to attend a site walk through and weld test prior to commencing and will generally commence the following day (if successful)

Ideal candidates for this role include those with minimal experience (3 months) welding and looking to pursue a career in manufacturing. There are no tickets or qualifications required for this position and you will have the opportunity to progress within the company and transition into a Permanent/Full-Time role.

What you will need?

• Previous welding (MIG) operating experience

• Background working in manufacturing

• Driver's Licence + reliable transport
