Our client is large company in the Construction industry with work throughout the Gold Coast and Brisbane region. They are partnered with WorkPac to recruit for an experienced Yardhand to join their company in a temporary basis with an opportunity for permanent based off performance.

About the Role
WorkPac are seeking a Yardperson with their Front-end loader ticket for an initial 3month temp assignment with an opportunity for permanent based in Cleveland. This is a day shift Monday - Friday role consisting of early starts (3am-5am) and working 8-13 hour days (Some Saturdays required). The role will include operation of a front end loader where the duties will include basic operations like pushing up material etc. In addition to operating, the role will entail general cleaning work i.e., hosing and shovelling. This is a physically demanding position and to be successful you will have proven experience in a construction or yard-based role.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Front End Loader operation

• Operating around other machinery and ground crew

• Using hand/power tools

• Manual lifting/carrying materials

• Yard maintenance

• Working apart of a team

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in similar Yard based role

• Experience operating Front End Loaders?

• Must have a current Front end loader ticket

• Current C Class Drivers Licence

• Current resume with 2x work related referees

• Available to commence immediately

• A strong work ethic

• High standard to safety

• Must be reliable and available for ongoing work
