Our client is an established leading distributor for Yutong Vehicles. The client has achieved a significant market share of school transport, public transport, mining, charter and tour buses, making it a regular top three brand in the Australian market.
About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable and Receivable Officer for a permanent opportunity located in Brisbane, Queensland. This role will be full time permanent, direct with our client and will be Monday to Friday.
Duties and Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Including reconciliation of supplier invoices, data entry, and cash flow management.
Ensure the timely payment of all invoices
Reconcile supplier statements and take proactive actions to resolve issues
Process and code invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures
Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions in the accounting system
Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals etc
Accounts Receivable
Including invoicing, receipting, and maintenance of credit limits.
Processing payments regularly and ensuring payments are made within agreed terms.
Ensuring all receivables are collected promptly.
Scan and identify discrepancies in accounts and immediately action accordingly.
Timely escalation of overdue payments accordingly
Follow up on past due accounts including cash sales and chase up debtors
Process and reconcile customer payments
Skills and Experience
Has experience using Pentana systems in the automotive or a similar sector using Pentana.
Is goal and target driven, with a keen sense of urgency
Has exceptional people and customer service skills
Has excellent time management, organisational and communication skills
Can work autonomously and methodically as part of a larger team with a positive approach
Possesses a high attention to detail and the ability to adhere to systems
Has the capacity to build & maintain good working relationships with staff and managers across the VDI network.
Has an excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
Brisbane local
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with Rights to Work within Australia
Current C Class Driver's License
