ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. They operate seven Bowen Basin mine sites with roles available across the operations with local, DIDO/Residential opportunities available

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You will be working as a blast crew within a busy and production Blast Department on a mine site based near Moranbah. You will be responsible for assisting the Shotfirers, operation of electronic detonators and dewatering if required. You will be working a lifestyle roster. DIDO or residential (Moranbah).

An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards, and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential. It is imperative that you possess the ability and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping, and compliance with mine working procedures.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Previous experience as a Blast/Shotfirer within a productive mining team

• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.

• SSAN, Current Drivers Licence, SSAN Clearance & right to work in Australia
