About the Role

WorkPac is seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our clientâs team in Mt Thorley. As a Boilermaker, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication, assembly, and repair of heavy equipment and machinery used in mining operations. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to projects that are vital to the mining industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair structural steel components and machinery parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Perform welding, cutting, and shaping of metal using various tools and equipment.

• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or equivalent.

• Proven experience as a Boilermaker in a heavy industrial environment, preferably within the mining or construction sector.

• Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Current driver's licence and reliable transportation.
