About the Role

WorkPac has exciting opportunities for trade qualified Boilermakers to assist with the maintenance and repairing of the company's range of marine and civil equipment.These positions are based in Townsville.

Key Responsibilities:

As a part of these roles, you will be responsible for:

• Undertaking mechanical repairs and refurbishment as required

• Identifying reliability issues & improvements.

• Conducting regular planned mechanical maintenance and repairs as requested.

• Responding to and addressing equipment breakdowns in an appropriate time frame.

• About You:
  

• Heavy Engineering/Boilermaker/Heavy Fabrication Trade Certificate (essential)

• Post trade experience on civil earthmoving equipment (large excavators and mobile plant)

• Exposure to marine equipment (dredges, barges, vessels etc.) is an advantage

• Hydraulic systems, propulsion systems and pump experience would be beneficial

• Strong organisational, multi-tasking and prioritising skills

• Ability to work in highly compliant environments, with a commitment to health, safety, community and the environment
