FIFO CHEF from Brisbane,Townsville or Cairns

• Roster:2 weeks on, 1 week off (2:1)

• DAS (Drug and Alcohol Screening): Medical and DAS required for site access.

• Duration: Ongoing Temporary to Permanent

• Payrate:$52 per hour (Flat rate)

• Flights and accommodation supplied.

Location: Mount Isa Mining Camp (FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville, or Cairns)

Role Overview: We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Chef for a FIFO role to Mount Isa. The successful candidate will work as a Line Chef, responsible for both Breakfast and Dinner shifts at a mining camp near Mount Isa, catering for up to 200 people.

What you will need

• Minimum Cert 3 in Cookery or Trade Certification.

• Experience for cooking for large groups (Mining site Pref)

Key Responsibilities:

Breakfast Shift (9pm - 9am):

• Prepare and cook breakfast from a set menu.

• Bake cakes and muffins.

• Set up salad bars and cribs.

• Meal preparations for the next shift.

• Conduct food temperature checks.

• Replenish Baine Marie when low.

• Cleaning duties.

Dinner Shift (9am - 9pm):

• Prepare and cook dinner from a set menu.

• Crib preparations.

• Restock salad bars and Baine Marie during service.

• Conduct food temperature checks.
