We have an opening for a qualified carpenter / skilled labourer with qualifications and experience to undertake carpentry work on a full-time basis. Duties Include (but not limited to):
Undertake all facets of carpentry work specifically 2nd fix and general labour duties (when required) on construction sites.
Safety and environmental awareness.
Ensure HSW practices are adhered to.
Competent in using a variety of tools and equipment in accordance with the SOP's.
Ability to work under pressure.
Working at heights. Requirements Include (but not limited to):
Carpentry qualifications and all relevant licences / certificates pertaining to the building industry.
Own tools.
Must have a current South Australian driver's licence, reliable car and police clearance.
Experienced and proficient in reading and interpreting plans and specifications accurately.
Capable of following instructions.
A good level of computer literacy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Be confident and diplomatic in resolving any issues that may arise.
Pro-active and excellent time management skills - complete tasks in a timely and safe manner.
Eager and willing to learn and grow within the role and company.
Reliable, punctual, positive attitude and excellent work ethics.
Physically fit and flexible working hours.
Construction white card required.
Skills/Qualifications:
Trade Certificate
Construction white card required.
EWP & Scissor lift licence (preferable).
First aid certificate (preferable).
Traffic management (preferable).
