Job Summary:
We are seeking a couple of skilled and experienced Carpentry and Ceilings/Partitions Team Members to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will be responsible for various tasks related to carpentry, including reading blueprints and specifications, performing 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, assisting with planning and layout, assessing woodwork quality, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations, providing excellent customer service, and working with internal and external cladding and framing systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certificate 3 in Carpentry or Certificate 3 in Wall and Ceiling Linings.
Valid White Card.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications accurately.
Perform 1st and 2nd fix carpentry tasks efficiently.
Assist with planning, layout, and installation of carpentry projects.
Assess the quality of woodwork and materials to ensure high standards.
Ensure compliance with local building codes and health and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service to clients.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
Experience in internal and external cladding and framing systems.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks.
Valid driver's license preferred.
