We are looking for an experienced Carpenter with expertise in ceilings and partitions to work on a variety of interior construction projects. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining ceilings, partitions, and other interior elements. Your skills and craftsmanship will contribute to creating functional and visually appealing spaces for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Install and construct various types of ceilings and partitions, including suspended ceilings, drywall partitions, and acoustic panels, according to project specifications.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to accurately determine material requirements and project scope.
Measure, cut, and shape materials to fit specific dimensions, using hand and power tools.
Install insulation, soundproofing, and vapor barriers in ceilings and partitions as needed.
Apply finishes, such as paint or wallpaper, to ceilings and partitions, ensuring a smooth and seamless appearance.
Repair or replace damaged ceilings and partitions, making necessary adjustments to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic consistency.
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues or maintenance needs.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and materials related to ceilings and partitions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Carpenter, with specific expertise in ceilings and partitions.
Strong knowledge of different types of ceilings and partition systems, as well as their installation and finishing techniques.
Proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools relevant to carpentry work.
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements accurately.
Detail-oriented with a focus on craftsmanship and quality workmanship.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to project challenges.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and interact professionally with clients.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
