About the Role

This role will play a key part in delivering strategic sourcing services and repairs to meet business unit and internal engineering requirements. This is initially a 6 month contract with the possibility of extension.

Duties & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Sources and contracts of tactical and strategic goods, services and repairs to meet business unit and internal engineering requirements, including local and capital procurement projects.

• Establishes and administers group and Site-specific goods and services contracts through understanding and determining end user requirements, and collaborating with Site-based stakeholders at multiple levels.

• Maintains ongoing and recommends a reliable supplier base through building strong relationships with suppliers.

• Identifies, reports and implements opportunities for improvement to systems and processes with guidance from line manager.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will have the following: -

• Relevant qualification in Contract management, Supply Chain or higher will be highly regarded

• Previous experience in contract management and strategic sourcing in engineering & mining essential.

• Demonstrated ability to foster strong relationships with suppliers

• Superior communication skills in English
