About Our Client
Our client is a specialised crane solutions company based in Karratha, providing services from maintenance, break downs and inspections to complete crane overhauls for businesses across the North West region of Western Australia.
What You Will Be Doing
WorkPac currently has a position available for an experienced Crane Technician to join our clients busy team in Karratha. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
Contribute to a safety first work culture that ensures an incident and injury-free work environment.
Fault diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and break down repairs on frannas, rough terrain, all terrain and crawler cranes
Repairs and maintenance on ancillary equipment such as earthmoving machinery, four-wheel drives, EWPs, forklifts and gensets
Perform quarterly and annual crane inspections in accordance with OEM requirements and Australian National Standards
Following maintenance schedules as well as attending callouts to both local and remote sites when required
What You Will Need
Relevant Australian recognised trade certification in Diesel Fitting
Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)
Refrigerant Handling Licence and Cert II Air-conditioning (preferred)
Demonstrated experience working with cranes is highly desirable however candidates with experience in heavy mobile equipment fitting will be considered
Exceptional diagnostics, issue resolution, time management and communication skills are essential
Ability to work within a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of performance as well as demonstrating flexibility to work between a variety of tasks as directed
