Our client is a medium sized Civil Construction and Engineering company based in the SEQ region. Partnered with WorkPac, they are currently seeking an experienced GPS Excavator Operator to commence immediately.

About the Role

WorkPac are seeking an experienced GPS Excavator Operator to commence immediately in SEQ for a short-term project. This opportunity will be Monday - Friday working a minimum of 8 hour shifts between 6:30am 5:00pm. The successful candidate will have an extensive background operating a variety of Excavators including a 30T in a civil environment. You will also have previous experience using GPS Trimble. The successful candidate must be willing to work on various sites between the Gold Coast and Brisbane West.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Daily site pre-starts

• Operating a 30T Excavator

• Utilising GPS

• Working around live services

• Removing structures

• Operating around other machinery and ground crew

• Constant radio communication

• Meeting strict safety standards

• Working both individually and apart of a team

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2-years recent operating experience

• Must have an Excavator ticket

• Proven experience and understanding of a construction site is essential

• Must be confident in pipe work, working around live services, boxing out roads, loading trucks and significant amount of final trim work

• White Card

• Current resume with 2x work related referees

• Hold a current Australian drivers license

• Reliable and available for ongoing work

• Availability for an immediate start
