EXPERIENCED DIESEL FITTERS - DIDO & FIFO POSITIONS

About the Role

WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Diesel Fittersto work with our client At Bluff Coal Mine. You will key role in maintaining the sites mobile equipment fleet through preventative maintenance, breakdown repair and schedule component replacementon a seven day continuous roster.

Aspects of this role include:

You will involved in delivering high work standards across a busy workshop and will require:

• Carrying out repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on heavy mobile mining equipment

• Attending to breakdowns, perform diagnostics and basic servicing

• Regularly communicating with production staff regarding timelines for repairs and service

• Ensuring all maintenance work undertaken is in accordance with site Safety Management Systems

• Identifying possible opportunities that will improve the maintenance function and reporting progress to the Supervisor

• Assisting production to reach targets by undertaking all allocated tasks in a timely and efficient manner

• Completing paperwork to a high standard

To be successful for this role you will have:

• Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Certificates in associated disciplines

• Working at Heights, Forklift Operation, Confined Spaces and EWP tickets are desirable

• Current Standard 11& Coal Board Medical (or able to obtain)Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical / Drug & Alcohol
