Director of Nursing

Prime Medical Placements are a leading recruiter within the health care industry. We are currently seeking experienced a Director of Nursing for an Independent Not for Profit Organisation in South Australia.

Job Role

The Director of Nursing is a Registered General Nurse who has demonstrated advanced clinical competency. Directly reporting to the Board of Management and working in collaboration with the Executive Office you will be responsible for but not limited to;

• Leading the team and identifying training needs.

• Maintaining KPIâs and developing and submitting ACFI.

• Assisting in the development and implementation of continuous improvement program.

On-call hours will be required on a rotational basis.

About You

Experience & Attributes

• Leadership skills â to maintain a collaborative approach to ensure delivery of resident-centred care.

• An understanding of the impact of complex care needs and a demonstrated ability to apply high level of clinical knowledge.

• Sound ACFI knowledge, care planning and evaluation.

• Understanding of the Charter of Aged Care rights.

Requirements

• Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse)

• Current Satisfactory National Police Clearance

• Current Influenza Vaccination Evidence

• Ability to undertake a pre-employment medical examination
