About Our Client:

Our client is a global manufacturer of building and construction materials and products, with a strong presence in the Western Sydney area.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Electrician to join our client's growing maintenance and operations team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining electronic equipment systems and programmable logic controls (PLC) on production equipment.

$90k to $120k + super (negotiable pending exp)

Full Time

Job Scope:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical/electrical issues (circuits, controls, motor starters, proximity switches, photo-eyes, PLCs I/O systems).

• Perform maintenance and repairs by observing installed equipment for hazards, problems, and service needs.

• Debug and repair production equipment (480-3 phase and DC 24 voltage systems, AC/DC circuits, frequency drives, load cells, power distribution, overhead cranes, induction motors, machine control components).

• Identify and troubleshoot electronic failures; recommend improvements to the Operations Manager.

• Install, retrofit, and upgrade electrical and mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality.

What We Are Looking For:

• Electrical trade qualification.

• Basic computer/PLC troubleshooting skills.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities for electro-mechanical and building maintenance.

• A NSW Electrical License and an Industry White Card.

• Preferably exposure to the manufacturing industry but is not essential.
