Electrical Project Advisor

8/6 roster FIFO from Perth Competitive Market rates on offer 12 month ongoing position About Our Client: Rio Tinto operates the worlds largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700 kilometre rail network and related infrastructure. Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance. About the Role: WorkPac are currently seeking a Electrical project Advisor to commence work as soon as possible. This position will hold an 8/6 roster, FIFO from Perth for a 12 month duration with competitive rates available for the successful applicant. Key Responsibilities will include: Ensure compliance with the RTIO Contractor Management System (CMS). CMS Activities - Issue of Permits, review/develop and the endorsement of the Contractor partners JHAs & SWPs. Develop & maintain a timely delivery process for CMS permit issuing & risk assessment document review across the delivery packages. Ensure accurate information is captured in the project reports (daily and weekly report and handovers notes etc). Inspection of statutory equipment site entry. Collaborate with the Senior Project Advisor to ensure that all site construction activities comply with and are delivered to Rio Tinto standards and policies for HSEQ and CMS. Participate in method statement and design reviews and contribute to safe execution practices. Coach and mentor, our Contractor partners in RTIO systems and processes. Conduct regular reviews of Project documentation HSE, CMS, Training Matrix, registers & folder structure. Demonstrate strong personal commitment to HSEQ in the workplace Skills & Experience Required: Exposure to RTIO Processes and systems advantageous (particularly in Project Delivery teams). Experience with fabrication, installation, and construction within an operational plant / port environment (desirable but not essential). Thrives within a high performing team environment. Strong people skills, with the ability to work with contractor partners. Effective communicator and influencer. Comfortable to be working within a multi-disciplinary and diverse team. Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities. Interpret and Implement systems, processes and procedures. Good understanding of Project Management principles.
