About the role:

Workpac are seeking experienced Trainee Operator Maintainer/Electricians for one of our clients who operates in the Perth metro, peel and wheatbelt networks, maintaining the rail. The roster is 9 days on 5 days off. The pay rate is $65 an hour and are working 12 hour days. Temp-Perm role after 6 months. FIFO from Perth and the work is located in Karratha. All applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Qualified unrestricted electrician

• Valid C class manual drivers license essential

• Committed with 100%safety focus

• Excellent communication skills

• Fit to category 1 medical requirements

• Friendly and cooperative team player

Responsibilities:

• Obtain site electrical competence/ VOC where required

• Perform any electrical work to required standard

• Take part in electrical mentoring during maintenance periods

• Become familiar with Speno electrical drawings and part identification

• Undertake electrical work under direct supervision

• Undertake mentoring of In-house electrical documentation

• Review technical manuals/operation manual
