About the Company

Collaborating closely with Tunnel Network Services, Queensland, our company plays a crucial role in maintaining various roads and tunnels throughout central Brisbane. Currently, we are undertaking projects at the following locations:

• Airport Link Tunnel

• Clem 7 Tunnel

• Legacy Way Tunnel

• Inner City Bypass

• Go Between Bridge

From the 12th to the 22nd of June, we will be immersed in a Tunnel Shutdown and require multiple Electricians to support our maintenance operations.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Electrician, you'll be working from 8:30 PM to 4:00 AM, Monday to Thursday, meeting at Bowen Hills each night. Your responsibilities will involve executing a range of maintenance activities, including installations, fault finding, and repairs. Exceptional candidates will have the opportunity for ongoing work beyond the shutdown.

We offer competitive pay rates for all shifts, with penalty rates structured as follows:

• 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM: $54/hour

• 10:30 PM to 4:00 AM: $72/hour

Core Duties

• Perform maintenance inspections, services, and routine activities.

• Swiftly report any asset malfunctions and actively participate in the required corrective action.

• Diagnose electrical or mechanical malfunctions and conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on operational assets

• Contribute to asset modifications, expansions, and disposal in accordance with TNS work procedures

What You'll Need

Demonstrated experience in Electrical/Mechanical maintenance (experience in effective asset management and maintenance is advantageous)

• Electrical License/Trade Certification

• White Card

• LVR + CPR certification

• Driver's Licence

• EWP (Elevated Work Platform) certification

• Confined Space certification (desirable)

• Working at Heights certification (desirable)

• High Voltage Switching ticket (desirable)
