ABOUT THE ROLE

Seeking experienced Electrician to commence for a local client working Monday â Friday 6AM to 4PM. Immediate Start required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform electrical installations, repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment and building structures in the most effective manner and to a high standard

• Ensure that all electrical work is conducted in accordance with current legislation, codes and standards

• Ensure that safe and efficient work practices are used in accordance with current Workplace Health and Safety Regulations

• Commitment to implementing Councils policies, procedures and other legislative requirements in relation to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Anti-Discrimination, Workplace Health and Safety and Quality Assurance

• Provide trade guidance and assistance to electrical apprentices

• Ability to work at heights

• Applicant will be required to participate in an afterhours on-call roster system

• Other responsibilities as delegated by Management within the scope of this position

SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Queensland Certificate of competency Electrical Fitter/Mechanic

• Current QLD Electrical Work Licence

• Current General Construction Safety âWhiteâ Card

• Current QLD Manual Car âCâ Class Open Driverâs Licence

• Experience in general electrical maintenance and/or construction
