WorkPac are currently recruiting for experienced Electricians for an 2:1 FIFO roster on SA mine site
Key Responsibilities and Activities:
Perform electrical servicing and preventative maintenance on plant
Carry out routine electrical inspections of plant and equipment including preventative measures and
Operate in accordance with the Company's Safety and Health Policy, and with all site policies,
procedures and regulatory requirements
Operate in accordance with the Company's Environment Policy, and comply with other site
environmental policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
Participate in call outs as required
General housekeeping of work area and plant in general
Performance in executing accountabilities for safe work behaviour and the safety of others.
For example: implementation of safety standards, plan work without compromising safety, actively work to eliminate risks, active involvement in safety meetings and safety initiatives
No reportable injuries in field of accountability
Compliance with environmental plan requirements / no breaches of environmental plan
Qualifications, Experience and Competency Requirements
Electrical trade qualifications
5 years post trade mining experience, FIFO preferable
Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic experience
Knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements in a mine environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Maintenance business systems (Pronto desirable)
EWP and working at heights (Desirable)
Confined Space and gas test atmospheres (Desirable)
Telehandler, Forklift (Desirable)
CN and Dogman (Desirable)
