Position/Role Description:

Electrician required for a company based in Bassendean. You will be required to diagnose and repair faults on electrical fixed plant machinery, equipment, and infrastructure e.g.

Control circuits, motors, and LV circuits.

Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical fixed plant machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.

Work in conjunction with other Maintenance team members and production operators.

Electrical installations in accordance with Australian Standards and Regulations supervised by the site in-house licence holder (nominee).

Statutory testing e.g., RCD testing, testing and tagging portable appliances, emergency lighting etc.

Complete risk assessments as required e.g. Take 5s and JSAs.

Follow isolation procedures.

Comply fully with all Nation and Western Australian policies, standards, regulations, codes of practice and laws.

Contribute to continuous improvement and design of electrical installations and control systems.

Input data and work history into the Maintenance Management System (MEX).

Mandatory Tickets/Licenses:

WA electrical licence

Industrial experience

Instrumentation experience

Experience repairing welding equipment

Familiarity to PLCâs, VSDâs and control systems

High Voltage switching

High Risk Work Licences: Elevated Work Platform & Forklift

Recent LV Rescue & Provide CPR training

Own car and Australian Driverâs License

Roster:

Monday to Friday â 7AM to 5PM

Expected start date â ASAP
