WorkPac is now hiring Electricians to join the team. Take advantage of great rates, culture, for a 17 week project in Gladstone. Candidates with high voltage experience are encouraged to apply.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT?

Our client is Australias second largest aluminum smelter located approximately 20 kilometers southeast of Gladstone at Boyne Island on the Central Queensland coast. Our clients exceptional manufacturing practices, strong safety & health culture, and their focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence is renowned in the industry.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

With a commitment to safe work practices, you will be required to assist with primary maintenance including testing and inspecting electrical equipment & plant, repairing & fault finding on equipment from Lights to transformers. Undertaking periodic maintenance on generators. For high voltage experienced candidates you will assist in testing of HV equipment such as HV cables & circuit breaker maintenance as well as protection relays. This role will run on a 9 day fortnight roster, 6am â 4pm.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED?

• Trade Certificate

• Current 3 Site Medical (yellow) - or willing to obtain one

• Drivers Licence required with own transport & right to work in Australia

• High Voltage Experience desirable
