About the Client?

Our Client produces a variety of high quality low-ash met coal products, including HCC, SCC, which comprises SHCC and SSCC, and PCI coal, which are exported globally to a diverse customer base of leading steelmakers.

About the Role

Our client requires E & I Technician for the effective and continuous operation of plant inclusive of all Process Instrumentation and Control Systems to meet Asset Intensity, Availability and Reliability Targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in all aspects of instrumentation install base;

• Service/Maintain/Install - Broad selection of technical and process equipment inclusive of all Process Instrumentation, Operational Technology Systems and Final Control devices;

• Preventative Maintenance/Compliance â Calibration and Verification of all Process Instrumentation and Final Control devices

• Non-routine troubleshooting and advanced problem- solving in analogue and digital control systems, Process? Instrumentation and Final Control Elements;

• Breakdown Response - Diagnose Process Instrument, Final Control Element and Control System problems using P&IDs, Functional Specifications, Process Flow Diagrams, and Operational Technology Systems;

• Participate in Break Down Analysis and Root Cause Analysis processes;

• Continuous improvement - Liaise with relevant stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Commissioning - Support all Departments in Commissioning and Start Up activities with process changes and project work. Coach tradespeople on the effective use of the control system to troubleshoot breakdowns;
  

Skills/Experience

• Current Drivers Licence

• 5 yearsâ Experience in Heavy Industry

• Preferred â Australian Recognised Trade Certificate - Restricted Calling âElectronic Instrument Tradespersonâ

• UEE31211 Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control

• UEE30811 - Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician

• Coal Board Medical
