About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking experienced Evaluation Utilities to provide logistic support for RE drilling projects including contractors and field team.
Duties & responsibilities
Plan and coordinate logistics work in an exploration field environment
Use your judgement and field experience to deploy resources in challenging and remote locations
Perth based role with frequent travel to remote exploration locations
We are looking for a Senior Field Technician to implement the delivery of operational and logistical support services across multiple projects so that all support resources, facilities, and services are provided for safe and effective field operations (e.g. drills, remote camps, site preparation).
This role requires the ability to travel to remote project locations within Western Australia. You will work a full-time roster, including a nominal two weeks on location and ad hoc office time throughout the field season.
What the role entails
This role is a great opportunity for someone with proven generalist field experience to play a vital role within the project team. The Senior Field Technician must enjoy being part of the exploration team, have a passion for field activities and the coordination of logistics and operational requirements. Working and reporting to the Project Coordinator, you will:
Coordinate the work of contractors in the field to ensure adherence to compliance, Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) and project standards;
Support the project team by providing generalist skills across a range of tasks and activities including camp mobilisation, maintenance, environmental processes and safety;
Ensure equipment is maintained in good working order;
Collaborate with team members to ensure work and resources are allocated to meet project priorities and requirements;
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
Current C Class driving license
Experience working in remote field-based environments with exposure to a wide range of field related tasks;
The proven ability to develop positive and productive team relationships with a wide range of people.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
