What You Will Be Doing

This role is a great opportunity for someone with proven generalist field experience to play a vital role within the RTX Pilbara Project Team. The Senior Field Technician must enjoy being part of a remote exploration team, have a passion for field activities and the coordination of logistics and operational requirements.? Working and reporting to the Logistics and Operations Project Coordinator.

What You Will Need

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

• Current C Class driving license

• Experience working in remote field-based environments with exposure to a wide range of field related tasks;

• The ability to assess project needs, coordinate a variety of logistics and operational support tasks and prioritise work to achieve project outcomes;

• The ability to make assessments and apply practical judgement to identify hazards and risks, take mitigating action, and interpret standards, to achieve safe and effective practices working in uncontrolled and challenging physical environments;

• The proven ability to develop positive and productive team relationships with a wide range of people;

• Demonstrated ability to solve operational problems, adapt to change quickly and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency; and

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and basic computer knowledge.

It will also be beneficial if you have:

• Formal qualifications in Project Management; and

• Current licenses - HR, Forklift/ Telescopic Material Handler, Vehicle Loading Crane, and High-Risk Work License.
