About Our Client

Specialising in the distribution, servicing, and manufacturing of machinery attachments for Earthmoving & Construction equipment, our client is looking to add to their already growing business. They have a position available for a Fabricator to work in an ongoing role (day shift and afternoon shift available) with the opportunity to move into a full time position with the company.

Based in Yatala (QLD), the site is fully equipped with the latest technology and offers a range of modern facilities available to all employees.

About the Role

Working 8-10 hour days, Monday to Friday (with weekends optional) the successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously and also be available to commence immediately. The position is site-based, with a strong focus on fabrication/welding duties across Earthmoving & Construction attachments.

What you will be doing:

• Fabrication/Welding of products according to company specifications

• Assemble various products as per job instructions, directions of Supervisor and Customer Sales Orders

• Carry out necessary checks and quality assurance of products as per specifications

• Operates hand and machine tools and welding equipment

• Joins structures and assembles parts through welding, bolting or riveting

• Communicate with Supervisor regarding any parts/fabrication discrepancies, which needs to be rectified immediately

• Clocks each job in and out using Lawson M3 computer system

• Maintain stock levels on shelves as directed by Supervisor

• 
  What Will You Need:

• Previous experience working in a similar role

• Reliable transport and driver's licence

• Positive attitude and willingness to progress within the company
