Fixed Plant Maintenance Fitter

About the role:

As a Fixed Plant Maintenance Fitter, you will be required to complete routine maintenance and breakdown servicing of fixed plant on site. All machinery is state of the art material sorting and processing machines.

Hours of work: 10-12hr shifts

Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm start

Night Shift: 10pm start

Duties & responsibilities:

• Manage breakdowns by attending then finding and fixing faults

• Support with clearing blockages where required

• Complete preventative maintenance checks

• Conduct daily plant pre checks and inspections

• Determine plant & equipment's condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests and identifying worn and damaged parts

• Maintain plant & equipment records

• Other duties where required

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified Fitter

• Heavy Industrial, Mining or Quarry experience

• Working at Heights

• EWP

• Confined Space

Preferred:

• Telehandler

• C6 Crane ticket
