About the Client

Our client is a global manufacturer and distributor of earthmoving and mining equipment and have a yard based in Sumner (QLD). They have multiple vacancies for mechanics to move into a Full-Time position, where they will focus predominately on the servicing and maintenance of forklifts. This position is open to both qualified mechanics as well as 3rd/4th year mechanic apprentices wanting to get their âfoot in the doorâ.

What you will be doing

As the forklift mechanic you will be required to work a minimum of eight hours a day (Monday to Friday) with daily overtime available. You core duties will include;

• Diagnose and determine faults

• Maintain accurate records of work orders & timesheets

• Perform routine maintenance

• Complete major rebuilds and repairs as required

What you will need

• Relevant trade qualifications (Light or Heavy Vehicle)

• Previous experience in a similar role

• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of industry safety protocols

• Time management skills

• Ability to work unsupervised

• Valid Driver's Licence
