About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking a Resource Geologist to join the high performing team with our leading mining client.This position is an 8:6 roster, 12 hour dayshifts for an initial 12 month duration.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Geological Data Collection from Drilling Programs

• Interpretation of Downhole Geophysical Data

• Sampling and QAQC of Geological Data

• Data Input for geological modelling

• Drill Program Designing for Grade Purposes

• Delivery of Reporting Obligations and Tenure Maintenance

• Adherence to Standards and Procedures

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Geological Science/Earth Science or equivalent (Geology)

• Current WA "C Class" Driver???s License ??? manual preferred

• Demonstrated geology experience (1-2 years, iron ore preferred)

• Vulcan and Excel software skills

• Geological data collection, validation, interpretation and QAQC

• Previous working knowledge of Pilbara Iron Ore geology or similar geological data collection and fieldwork.

• Experience with data processing, QAQC and geological data validation.

• Exposure to health and safety management and implementation systems ??? e.g. T5???s, JHA???s, Pre-starts, etc
