About Our Client

WorkPac are currently working with a large government organisation who assist with the movement of people across the state and allow goods and services to move effectively and safely. With the new requirements of the department, our client is looking to bolster their workforce with an experienced graphic designer.

About the Role

This position will see you utilise your skills as a graphic designer and assist with the delivery of effective design and multimedia solutions which will represent value for money across multiple traditional and contemporary graphic design systems and platforms. This is a great opportunity for you to use your experience providing strategic advice, excellent communication to build relationships both internally and externally and drive the implementation of marketing strategies and policies to further enhance the reputation of the department and bring value to the community. To be successful in this role you will be a skilled graphic designer across digital and video design methods with a strong focus toward animation and be able to align business needs and corporate identity into your content.

Role Requirements

• Demonstrated experience working in a planning environment, demonstrated experience working within government style guides

• Diploma level qualification in the visual arts industry or ability to acquire Diploma in a short period of time

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver effective design services and solutions that represent value for money across multiple, video, filming, photography, animation, digital, and graphic design platforms.

• Provide timely and quality advice on corporate identity standards across all digital and visual outputs.

• Operate industry standard design, publishing and video editing systems (such as Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects, Microsoft Suite etc.)

• Develop and maintain ongoing constructive relationships and strategic networks with other government agencies, industry, stakeholders, community and internal and external clients.

• Consult, liaise with internal/external customers/stakeholders to deliver a reliable and cost-effective outcome.
