About the client

Established in the late 1970's, our client is Australia's leading total waste management, industrial and environmental services company who have supported Australian businesses for over fifty years and has extensive operations in Australia and the United Kingdom. They are currently seeking Dockers to join their growing team for an ongoing position based in their Olympic Park (NSW) facility.

What you will be doing

As a Docker you will ideally have your unrestricted HC or HR Licence and be required working Monday to Friday 7am-3pm with the occasional Saturday or Sunday when Required (Paid at Penalties). The role is based in Olympic Park (NSW) and your core duties will include.

• Safely adopt docker

• Pre-start safety checks on equipment

• Docking of trailers using tug or prime movers

• Picker and packer area housekeeping

• Co-ordinating quick hitches, live loading, and parking of vehicles/trailers on the front apron.

• Set up trailers for preloading

• Communicating the tipping locations to drivers

What you will need

• Good work ethic

• HC or HR Licence

• Commitment to safety

• Self-motivated

• Mechanical aptitude

• Solid HR driving experience

• Customer service skills

• Sound communication skills

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Driver History Report

• Cleanaway WH&S to be completed prior to commencement
