About the role

Have you got mechanical experience working on Mining, Road or Highway Heavy Vehicles, Semi Trailers, Trucks or Tippers?

We are seeking a qualified Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic who has completed an apprenticeship with a Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or something similar. You will be working a rotating roster of 1 week of Days & 1 week of Afternoon shifts.

The Equipment onsite is as follows

• Hino

• Mitsubishi

• Iveco

• Isuzu

• New Holland

• JLG

• Merlo

• Kubota Gensets

• Heavy Trailers
  

What you will be doing:

• Servicing

• Repairs and Maintenance

• Diagnostics

• Testing and adjusting as per OEM Guidelines

• Breakdown Support

• Component Changeout

• Parts Identification

• A strong commitment to safety
  

What you need:

• Current Drivers licence

• Relevant Trade Certificate- Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology

• Willing to undertake an Order 43 Medical & Drug and Alcohol Test

Desirable skills but not mandatory are

• Auto Electrical Experience

• Air Conditioning Licence

• Hydraulic Experience
