• $46-53/hour (base rate) -overtime paid at penalty rates

About our client

Our client is the primary provider of fire and rescue, emergency management, and disaster mitigation programs and services throughout Queensland. They deliver this through their Fire and Rescue Service (FRS), Rural Fire Service (RFS) and State Emergency Service (SES). They are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join their team, based out of their workshop in Yatala, Queensland.

What you will be doing

You will be required to work Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm and perform the following duties:

• Responsible for general cab chassis maintenance

• Responsible for general servicing of fire trucks

• Small engine maintenance on generators and pumps

What you will need

• Heavy Vehicle Mechanic trade certificate (Light Vehicle Mechanics will be considered)

• Previous experience completing the above duties

• Pump, hydraulic and pneumatics experience (advantageous)

• MR Licence (desirable)
