What you will be doing

WorkPac is currently seeking a Heavy Duty Fitter that will be responsible for ongoing Maintenance of mobile plant equipment.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair heavy machinery and equipment

• Perform troubleshooting and diagnose faults on equipment

• Assemble, install, and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems

• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

• Conduct regular maintenance to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely

• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within deadlines

• Taking personal responsibility for the continuous improvement and enhancement of our Zero Harm culture

• Some of the equipment you will be working with:

• Prime movers - Kenworth C540s, C509s and T659s / Powertrains T1250

• Power trailers - Powertrains (Cummins QSK 19 engine with Allison transmission)

• Loaders - CAT 980, 988 / Komatsu 600,900

• Graders - CAT 14H, 14M, 16M

• Excavator - Daewoo S300 / Komatsu PC850

• Dozer - CAT D6 to D9

• Dump Truck - CAT 775 / Komatsu 785

• Water cart 773D and Moxy

• Various LVs including Hilux, Hiace, Land cruisers and Prados

• Striker series screening plant

What you will need

• Valid Drivers License - HR preferred.

• Australian recognised Trade Qualification - HD Fitter

• Able to pass a DAS and pre employment medical
